Early on Tuesday morning, Greek photography and videography team Up Stories, in cooperation with the Meteo weather service, sent their drone up in the center of Athens to capture images of the city from above, the day after the Elpis snowstorm which has effectively and officially shut the country down. As the authorities have asked the public to limit their movements to only necessary outings, and schools, businesses and several roads remained closed, the city appears empty, cold, yet atmospheric.

Flying over iconic locations such as the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the drone footage is paired with original music by Adam Panagopoulos.
