Thessaloniki Student Parade this Wednesday Cancelled

A student parade scheduled for this Wednesday has been cancelled on account of the recent death of Movement for Change party leader Fofi Gennimata.

The Interior Ministry on Monday announced that the student parade scheduled for Wednesday in Thessaloniki was cancelled as it coincided with the day of mourning called for after the death of Movement for Change (KINAL) party leader Fofi Gennimata. The parade is part of wider Ohi Day celebrations.

The military and student parades scheduled for Thursday, the anniversary itself, will be carried out as originally planned.
