As of June 1st, ITA Airways has introduced three daily flights going from Athens to Rome’s Fiumicino airport and vice versa.
This summer, the Italian (the company is owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and has been active since November 2020) will run a schedule that will also serve other Greek and Italian destinations.
 
This new schedule, from July to September, will include direct seasonal flights in August from Rome/Fiumicino and from Milan/Milan Linate to Heraklion in Crete, Corfu and Rhodes.
In August, Kefalonia will be served from Rome/Fiumicino and Thessaloniki from Milan Linate.
ITA Airways’ 2022 summer season includes 63 new destinations, of which 22 are domestic, 34 international and 7 intercontinental.
