As Greek tourism returns to pre-pandemic heights, Uber is expanding to three of the most famous Mediterranean islands.
The platform is now offering its services in Sicily, on Malta, and on Santorini. According to Bloomberg, more islands in Greece and Spain are also to be added within the next few months.

Travel is rebounding rapidly, according to the company’s information. “The reality is what we see today is the demand is actually exceeding expectations,” Anabel Diaz, Regional General Manager for Uber’s Mobility business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, commented.
Uber is also expected to introduce its “Explore” product, through which app users can make restaurant reservations and book tickets for tourist attractions, in several new cities soon, starting with Madrid.
