According to a report by Bloomberg, Santorini is among the six best places in Europe recommended by travel professionals for a fall vacation.

“The further south you go, the longer the summer lasts,” says Brie Shelly of luxury travel agency Embark Beyond, explaining that in places like Spain’s Balearic Islands and Greece, travelers can enjoy hot, dry weather until October.

Santorini has the longest season in the area, remaining open until the end of November.

The other destinations that Bloomberg recommends for autumn are Lake Como in Italy, Prague, Sicily and Portugal.
