New investments of 40 million euros are being prepared by the luxury hotel group MarBella Collection in Corfu and Thesprotia (northwest Epirus), in an effort to take advantage of the forward momentum of Greek tourism.
The investment program will last for three years, from 2022 to 2025, with the main aim of creating new hotel units and making further additions to existing hotels, MarBella Corfu and MarBella Nido.

For MarBella Corfu, the investment plan for 2022 will amount to 5 million euros, and will include the addition of two new restaurants to its gastronomic options, as well as a state-of-the-art Aqua Park, making it one of the few five star hotels with modern water park facilities. For the 2023 season, a complete renovation of all rooms and common areas is planned, with an investment cost of 10 million euros.
At MarBella Nido, an investment of 3 million euros will include the addition of a new wing of 25 luxurious suites with stunning sea views, to be completed in 2024.
In addition, an investment of 2 million euros will be used to create central offices and autonomous food warehouses and supply units, which will serve all hotels.
New hotel projects
As part of its investment plan, the Group has also announced the creation of a brand new hotel unit in Corfu, with a capacity of 200 beds. With an investment of 15 million euros, the project aims to be completed in 2024.
At the same time, the Group’s presence in Thesprotia in northwest Epirus will strengthened, thanks to the creation of a complex of luxury villas in the area of Karavostasi. The project has an investment cost of 3.5 million euros.

It should be noted that during the five years 2016-2021, the MarBella Collection Group proceeded with investments of 46 million euros, with the purchase and reconstruction of existing hotel units both in Agios Ioannis Peristeron in southern Corfu (now MarBella Nido) and in the area of Karavostasi (now MarBella Elix), in parallel with the ongoing modernization of MarBella Corfu.
