Internationally renowned, multi-Michelin starred chef Gordon Ramsay has been spotted in Crete, on location for what is believed to be an upcoming documentary about Greek delicacies and the local food culture.
Flash.gr reports that Ramsay and his crew were shooting in the streets of Hania on the island of Crete. They were also spotted enjoying the warm weather in Splantzia Square, sitting outside a bakery waiting for pieces of bougatsa, a Greek breakfast pastry that comes in sweet or savory varieties.

Ramsay is one of the best-known chefs and TV personalities worldwide, thanks to the 16 Michelin stars his restaurants have earned and to the ferocious temper he displays on such hit reality TV shows as “Kitchen Nightmares” and “Hell’s Kitchen.”
This isn’t the first time that Ramsay has had professional contact with Greek cuisine. The original English-language version of his show “Kitchen Nightmares,” which has also been adapted for Greek television, featured the chef’s attempts to help numerous failing restaurants owned by Greek restaurateurs.
