British product comparing website Money.co.uk has revealed the results of their research aiming to find the most beautiful 5-star hotels in the world.
How did they do it? First they found the top rated 5-star hotels in every country. Then they looked to Instagram. Counting millions of tagged posts, they created lists of the most hashtagged hotels. On sixth place on the list of the most beautiful hotels in Europe, we find Cavo Tagoo on Mykonos.

It could be argued that many instagrammers visit landmark hotels not just for their beauty, but for their history and fame. The Claridges in London and The Ritz in Paris (number 1 and 2 on the list) are favorites among royalty and politicians, making them city sights in their own right. Greece’s representation on the list, meanwhile, owes much of its insta-status to its panoramic sea view and infinity pools. You’ve most likely seen the spectacular cave shots; couples kiss in the white rock tunnel connecting the indoor- and outdoor pools. Heart-shaped floating trays drift beside them, spilling with fruit, drinks, and mouthwatering pastries.
The hotel’s official Instagram account has 1.8 million followers.
