Volotea recently announced that it would begin operating a route between Thessaloniki and the island of Zakynthos.
The low-cost Spanish airline will add the new route from June 3rd, with flights scheduled to depart every Tuesday and Thursday. Approximately 13,600 seats will be available across the period running from June to October, when these flights will cease for the season. Ticket prices will start from €24 one way.

Volotea, which connects small and medium-sized European cities with a number of Greek islands, already flies from Thessaloniki “Macedonia” Airport to Mykonos, Santorini and the city of Irakleio on Crete.
This year, the airline will have 68,000 seats available during the summer season on domestic flights to and from Thessaloniki, which is 269% more than last year.
Olympic Air and Sky Express air carriers already connect Thessaloniki with Zakynthos, but with an intermediate stop at Athens International Airport.
