The measures came in the wake of a record 203 new infections on Sunday, the eighth consecutive day when the National Organization of Public Health (EODY) confirmed a three-digit number of cases.
The new measures will go into effect starting August 17.
The ferry fleet has resumed its activity this summer although passenger traffic might not exceed 49% compared to last year.
203 Covid-19 cases were recorded in the country on August 9; the situation, however, is less critical than the beginning of the pandemic, as the age group with the most cases is that of 20-40 years.
