Fly Away with Aegean Air

Aegean Airlines adds 14 destinations and 1.1 million seats

Aegean Airlines announced on Thursday the addition of 14 international destinations to its flight schedule for next year, as it seeks to expand its network and offer 1.1 million more seats than in 2015.

Next season Aegean will also fly from Athens to Dublin, Nice, Lille, Naples, Bari, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Palma de Majorca, Ljubljana, Jeddah, Krakow, Vilnius and Split. It will offer a total of 16.2 million seats.

Aegean’s vice president, Eftychis Vassilakis, said 2015 has been a difficult year for Greek airports, on top of the political and economic uncertainty seen since last fall.
