BACKGROUND

A favorite Athenian hub, the Athens Hilton is more than a hotel; it is an integral part of the city’s business, cultural and social life. Between the years 2001-2003, in view of the Olympic Games, the hotel underwent a minimalist intervention by architects Alexandros Tombazis and Harry Bougadellis, who aimed at restoring the building and adding a six-story wing overlooking Ventiri Street.
