As tourism returns to pre-pandemic levels on the Greek islands, beachside establishments are back to doing what they do best: serving good food and cocktails, and throwing legendary parties.
According to a report from recent research conducted by swimwear brand Pour Moi, who decided to investigate which beach clubs worldwide were most popular with influencers and other users on video-sharing app TikTok, Mykonos is tied with Bali as the number one hotspot for beach parties. Looking at the number of watches for videos from beach clubs everywhere, they concluded that three of top ten most popular clubs were located on the island, placing in 6th, 8th and 10th place.

In 6th place, Nammos, on Psarou Beach, is described as easily accessible and popular with people arriving by yacht, with “top-notch food, crisp champagne and glamorous parties.” Meanwhile, at number 8, SantAnna on Paraga beach, you can enjoy “relaxing wellness experiences such as massages, pilates, beauty treatments and blowouts, so you can look and feel your best before the festivities kick off.” At world famous, bohemian-style Scorpios, which is the 10th most popular beach club in the world according to the research, you can “lie on a sunbed or cabana, dine on tapas, or take part in the famous Sunset Music Ritual, when the music picks up, the bonfires get lit and the dancing starts in earnest.”
Videos from Nammos, SantAnna and Scorpios have been watched on TikTok 4 million, 2.1 million and 1.8 million times, respectively.
This list follows a recent article by Condé Nast Traveller also listing the best beach clubs in the world for this year, where Greece was among the most featured countries – with three of the establishments featured located on Mykonos. “If all beach bars have started to feel strangely familiar, whether you’re in Canggu, Cartagena or Comporta, blame it on Scorpios,” that article commented, indicating that the Greek beach bar scene also serves as an inspiration at other holiday destinations.
