Greece was listed by CNN in a recently published article as one of the 11 top destinations to visit this summer, in what was described as the first “normal” tourist season after the two summers of Covid 19 having taken over our lives.
The other 10 destinations recommended by CNN are Australia, Israel, Singapore, France, Great Britain, Panama, New York, Great Lakes, Montreal and Walt Disney World.

“This country – and especially its islands – is highly attractive this summer,” CNN wrote in reference to Greece, making a special mention of Santorini and Mykonos, as well as Crete, Zakynthos and the Peloponnese, while featuring a photo of Navagio beach on Zakynthos.
“Santorini and Mykonos often top travel bucket lists,” the article says, “while Crete, the largest Greek island, can be paired with either. Some of the most stunning Greek beaches are located in Zakynthos, while back on the mainland, the Peloponnese Peninsula is famous for its ancient ruins and modern-day wineries,” it writes.
Concluding the article is a warning by Greece travel specialist Katy Link, who warns the American public about fake advertisements for stays in hotels in Greece.
