Tourist Season Already Underway in Hania, Crete

Hania airport in Crete has been receiving tourists from abroad since the end of March, much earlier than any previous year.


Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) Secretary General Dimitris Fragakis noted in Hania on Monday that this tourism period has started much earlier than any other year.

He visited the Cretan city’s Ioannis Daskalogiannis Airport, and met with its administration and representatives of the airport police and fire brigade.

 

According to the GNTO chief, Hania Airport has been receiving passengers from abroad since the end of March.
