From November 24-27, a record 75 teams from across Europe will compete in the fifth annual Messinia Pro-Am tournament, places for which sold out months ago.
This year’s event at the luxury Costa Navarino resort in the southwest Peloponnese will feature, for the first time, three courses, including the world’s first “International Olympic Academy Golf Course” at Navarino Hills, designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend José Marίa Olazábal. Amateurs, professionals and celebrity golfers will also line up to compete on the award-winning Dunes Course and The Bay Course.

Teams from 20 European countries, alongside host nation Greece, will compete for a total prize fund of 50,000 euros.
The 54-hole international tournament is officially sanctioned by the Confederation of Professional Golf and held under the auspices of the PGAs of Greece and the Hellenic Golf Federation.
The Messinia Prom-Am also features a program of themed events and dinners, emphasising the social side of golf and the spirit of friendship and community. It will also include a charity evening in aid of SOS Children’s Villages.
Navarino Hills was named as the “World’s Best New Golf Development” at last year’s World Golf Awards. Situated on 125 hectares of breathtaking landscape overlooking the Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea, the site has become one of Europe’s leading golf destinations. Two new 18-hole courses are currently in development, and are planned to open in spring 2022.
Next year, the Westin Resort Costa Navarino, featuring five-star deluxe hotels, private residences, spas, and world-class conference facilities, will be able to offer its guests four signature golf courses, all within a distance of 13 kilometers from each other.
