Canaves Oia is not a place that does things by halves. After all it is not by chance that the luxury resort perched on the edge of Santorini’s caldera is consistently named as one the top hotels in Europe by the likes of Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure and Tripadvisor (with the readers of Conde Nast Traveler going so far as to vote it the 28th best hotel in the world in 2017).

So it is little surprise that their promotional videos often have a little extra magic, instantly transporting one to a cliffside infinity pool, or the tranquil cool of a spa built into the cliff face.

Last year the resort got philosophical with their promo video, which featured a gravelly voice musing over the nature of time over scenes of beautiful couples enjoying themselves to the fullest on Santorini.

But this year finds them in a groovier and more playful mood. The resort’s latest whimsical video titled “Luxury Never Sounded So Good” features everyday hotel sounds orchestrated into a catchy tune that you can’t help tapping your feet to.
